Diana Bada unleashes Wardrobe Sessions
If you think that Nigerians cannot sing world-class songs with exceptionally meaningful lyrics then it’s high time you had a serious rethink because even amidst the country’s ups and downs, it has amazingly kept up with producing superb artistes over the years. One of such is the dazzling Diana Bada who recently launched her new album in the most impressive manner.
Her debut album entitled “Wardrobe Sessions” is a twelve tracker which features different genres of music from her unique world. Diana who spent most of her life in Moscow, Russia, is not just a singer but also a top class performer/entertainer and this was manifested when she came on stage with her most capable live band group, Expressions Band. She was really outstanding and she got the guests on their feet, while dancing to her lovely melodies almost all through her performance that night.
The night which had different flavors of songs filling the air with the likes of Reggae, Hip Hop, Afrobeat, Jazz, Alternative Rock and Soul also witnessed other scintillating performances from artistes such as Prince Eji, Idoowu, Bright gain, Kelorchee, Isebiama, Black gees, Dabyna and Jrugg
The album launch which took place on the 18th of December at Terra Culture had Habeebah as its host for the night and believe it when I say she was simply remarkable that night as she ensured that the audience never had a dull moment. Families, friends and well wishers from home and abroad also graced the event.
The fair-skinned Diana is of mixed heritage as she was born of Nigerian father and a Russian mother, she also holds a Business degree from a University in Hungary.
