As part of its corporate social responsibility, Oaken Events limited decided to spread its tentacles down to the Little Saint Orphanage,Akowonjo Branch in Lagos. It was one of those days that the little saints would live to remember for a long time to come as they were treated to a filled time at the Orphanage, venue of the party.
" This party was organized in order to give back to the society, more especially the less privileged like the orphans. We specially chose orphanages because we realize that the children staying there need our love and care at all time to keep them going. these kids have been victims of neglect by mostly heartless parents. So this is our own little way of showing love to them" said Mrs Obianuju Chi

She further stated that the inaugural edition is obviously a first major step towards continuous display of their corporate social responsibility to the public and that orphanages all around Nigeria would benefit from this yearly event from time to time.
The kids were treated to special games like bouncing castles,snookers and also facial makeovers, facial kiddies tattoos and lots of food and drinks. Long lasting gift items were also donated to the Orphanage,some of which includes pampers, foodstuffs, accessories,educational and inspirational books.
